The DI spray guns are constructed of virgin PTFE and polypropylene to provide them with a long life span in harsh acidic or corrosive environments.  The blow off DI spray gun design and comfortable grip are the industry standard in semiconductor fab plants, wet benches and work processing stations.  All the DI water spray guns may be purchased individually or with a variety of fittings and hoses.

Recirculating DI spray guns all have molded PTFE bodies with PVDF pistons.  These DI Spray guns are designed so that there is very little dead space for bacteria to grow.  DI water is able to circulate up to the sealing seat through out the entire gun and piston.  From the sealing seat on, bacteria build up is kept to a minimum by using a 1/16" thick spray nozzle.

Deionized water is also know as DI water.  Deionized water has been purified with sodium, calcium, iron, copper, chloride and bromide removed.  This process involves taking conventional water and exposing it to electrically charged resins that attract the ions to be removed.  The water is free from sodium, calcium, iron, copper, chloride and bromide but it still contains viruses and bacteria which have no charge to be attracted to the electrified resins.  Since the water ion level is reduced when it comes in contact with metal it draws the ions out of the metal. The deionized water is "starved" of ions and will replenish its ions when in contact with metal.  This is what causes corrosion in metal components when in contact with DI water.  The DI water spray guns are made of PTFE which is highly resistant to water, heat, and chemical corrosion. PTFE is non-conductive, making it resistant to high electric fields. These spray guns have an excellent performance when hydrofluoric acid is present which will dissolve other materials, even glass.

TA-308 DI WATER SPRAY GUN HOSE OPTIONS
•  PU or Polyurethane. Contains no plasticizes which could migrate and cause flow contamination or tube hardening. Excellent choice for mild DI spray gun applications. Coiled hose.
•  FEP or Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene DI Spray Gun. Invented by DuPont® and sold under the brand name PTFE.  Softer than PTFE and melts at 500°F or 260°C. Coiled hose.
•  PFA or Perfluoro alkoxy alkanes are fluoropolymers DI Spray Gun. Invented by DuPont® and sold under the brand name PTFE.  At 500°F or 260°C, PFA maintains its integrity in extreme temperatures even when exposed to caustic chemicals. PFA has a greater tensile strength that PTFE and a smoother surface finish than both PTFE and FEP.  Very low levels of extractables. Coiled hose.
•  PTFE by Chemours which is a spin off from DuPont° DI Spray Gun. It's melting point is 620°F or 327°C. Not affected by acids, solvents and other harsh chemicals. Excellent choice for the most corrosive harsh environment,  PTFE tubing is straight, not coiled.

DI WATER SPRAY GUN PACKAGING 
Each DI water spray gun is packaged in a 4 mil bag.  Spray gun can be brought into a cleanroom gowning room, unpackaged, wiped down and brought into a cleanroom.  Spray guns are cleaned throughout the manufacturing process. A final cleaning is done before packaging. DI water spray guns are packaging for a cleanroom environment
