316 Stainless Steel Tables
At Cleanroom World, we have a large selection of 316 stainless steel tables for cleanrooms, labs, and manufacturing facilities.
Our 316 stainless steel tables come in a variety of sizes, configurations, and weight capacities, including:
The 316 designation in stainless steel tables refers to the gauge (or thickness) of the stainless steel. Stainless steel isn’t a single alloy – other elements are added to improve corrosion resistance.
Type 316 stainless steel tables have a higher level of resistance to corrosion, which makes them ideal for cleanroom, lab, and manufacturing facility environments. In particular, 316 stainless steel tables are required for medical, pharmaceutical, semi-conductor, and other types of sterile manufacturing areas.
The 316 stainless steel tables are austenitic and non-magnetic, and they include more molybdenum than 304 stainless steel tables, which makes them more corrosion resistant. The 316 stainless steel helps inhibit the pitting that can be caused by chlorides, and this type of stainless steel also holds up well with repeated use of industrial chemicals and solvents.
Our large selection of tables for cleanrooms includes electropolished 316 stainless steel tables. An electropolished finish ensures that the surface of the 316 stainless steel table doesn’t have any micro-depressions or micro-projections. Electropolished 316 stainless steel tables have a clean, bright, smooth finish, one that’s almost “mirror-like.”
We have electropolished 316 stainless steel tables available in more than twenty “stock” sizes, and custom sizes and styles are also available.
Please note that in addition to 316 stainless steel tables, we also have 430 stainless steel tables and 304 stainless steel tables. The 430 grade stainless steel tables are restaurant-grade tables, and they can be used outside cleanroom environments for staging, general assembly, and other tasks. The 304 grade stainless steel tables can be used in cleanroom settings. Click here to read about 304 stainless steel vs 316 stainless steel.
